The final midwinter race day was briefly postponed in order to allow the wind settle and the distant squalls to change direction, away from the race course. Fortunately, the attentive Race Committee was able to initiate the races, after only a short delay, onto a Southerly course. As the winds developed, the course shifted West and built into a strategically exciting day for the boats looking to solidify positions on the podium.

Once the boats were back in their slips, and the crew were drinking at the bar post-race, the skies let loose, unleashing rain, then hail, then sunshine once again.

Congratulations to all competitors and first-place finishers.
